She won a £10,000 award from the East Midland Development Agency to help get her business off the ground.
Susan says "Everyone has been extremely positive. Being an Entrepreneur is positively encouraged now and people of all ages are prepared to take chances and do something different. There are so many new and exciting ideas and the problem is sometimes where to start and to keep focused. Nobody is going to be able to retire in the future anyway so I would advise anyone to just go for it, be the master of their own destiny and enjoy their achievements!".
